I have two Facebook accounts. One for the people who know me from real life, schoolmates, family, the girls I’ve coached. The girls loved me, thought I was funny, but these people largely do not know me very well. They don’t know I write, some haven’t spoken to me since we were teenagers, and generally I’m a non-entity. You know how most Facebooks are; I use it mostly to share photos with family far away and otherwise ignore it. The other account is my author account, where I am pretty much exactly how I am and say what I think and people know me as… me. I use that one more. I’m used to being sarcastic instead of polite.
So I posted a picture of Little Roux on my real person account today, and responded to a comment with the first thing that came to mind. I didn’t realize I got my personas mixed up until the girl responded with surprise that I was funny…

My fear is that GRL will come around and people will be shocked when they meet me and I’m nice to them…
