My daughter pushed the button on her singing doll today, the doll that typically sings Mary Had a Little Lamb, and it began to blurt out rambling static. This is a recording, mind you, not a radio receiver or something you can record over. It should not be capable of playing static. It wouldn’t stop, and it wouldn’t sing. It just kept playing static until finally after a lot of poking it began to sing in a sweet little girl voice again.

That thing is going in the trash as soon as Little Roux takes her eyes off it.

And when I checked my e-mail tonight, I had an e-mail from Riptide saying something to the effect of, ‘those stealth links you included in the file were clever.’ I was all, what stealth links? So some of you will discover that certain words in your files have ghost links that take you to appropriate webpages. Music, photos, and one video about flair bartending.

Those are links that I put in the files over fives years ago, and they went stealth until they were found in conversion. I don’t know why, and I don’t know how.
