A reminder of just how badass Zane can be.
- Touch & Geaux
“Zane,” Ty said, his voice hoarse. He cleared his throat and took a deep breath. He seemed to be fighting to meet Zane’s eyes. “There’s something … something I’ve been keeping from you.”
Zane’s stomach flipped. “I thought we got all the secrets out.”
“Not this one,” Ty said, looking sick.
I promised a T&G snippet if the Braves won tonight. And win they did! It was beautiful. None of you are reading this because you saw ‘snippet’ and you’re already skimming to get to the good stuff, but I’m seriously thinking about telling you in detail how we won and then slipping the snippet in mid-sentence so I can FORCE YOU TO CARE.
If my spacebar weren’t being a bitch tonight, I’d totally do that.
Snippet:
“I need your help,” Nick said without further greeting.
“Why, what’s wrong? Where are you?” Ty asked as he sat up in bed. Zane placed his hand on the small of Ty’s back, wiping his fingers through the sweat there.
“I’m in New Orleans,” Nick answered, his voice still pitched low. “I need you to come down here.”
“Why, what happened?” Ty ran a hand through his messy hair.
“I’ve been arrested. They’re going to charge me with murder, Ty.”
How did I fucking miss this on twitter? I have Abi on my notifications…Dammit. I just don’t believe she’d confirm something like that…Oh Abi, damn you cause I know I never know when you are being serious or just playing with our little minds. Evil!
The dilemma I face now is whether to build up a reputation amongst my readers and peers for being honest and straight-forward, or….do I embrace the dark side and become pure evil?
This is your last bit of torture. Pre-ordering from Riptide will allow you to receive the book at midnight!
From midnight on, beware of spoilers.
Everything’s Hotter In Texas

I have my copy.

The Texas Gate, also called a Vehicle Pass or Cattle Guard, is a way to confine livestock but allow tractors, trucks and cars to pass through a feedlot or field fence. Rubber-tired wheels roll easy across the grid (spaced steel pipes) but cattle, sheep and horses will shun the round, smooth piping over a pit.
